Membership FAQs

What happens after I submit my application?

After a careful verification of your data, the admission agreement will be sent to you via the eSignature provider DocuSign. You return the filled out contract back to us. We will then set up your membership.

How does the on-boarding look like and how long will it take?

To get you started in the life of LLI, you will receive an onboarding guide, a series of brief and informative emails, and an optional meeting with one of our Operations staff.

Whom do I contact regarding my membership?

If you do not have a membership at the LLI yet, please contact our staff via membership@liquid-legal-institute.org.

If you have questions about your membership, you wish to make changes to the membership, or have questions about your invoicing, please contact our staff via administration@liquid-legal-institute.org.

I have a Corporate, SME or Group membership. How do my employees apply for member seats?

All employees interested in collaboration in the LLI network have to fill out this form using their company email address. They will receive access within the next few days.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept tranfers using IBAN structure and in some cases PayPal payments. If you decide to pay via PayPal please make sure to include a € 5 processing fee. Alternatively you could fill out your SEPA mandate.

Can I give a SEPA mandate?

Yes. We encourage you to use the SEPA mandate provided as an attachment to your admission contract. We can also send a SEPA mandate via the eSignature provider DocuSign.

Do I need to pay VAT?

No. We do not charge VAT on our membership fees.

What happens if I apply for a different membership type?

Memberships are different from abonnements. An individual can hold an Individual and a Corporate memberships at the same time. It is important because only private persons are e.g. allowed to become an ambassador.

If you do not wish to use your second membership, it has to be canceled. Otherwise, the fee will be charged.

Can I cancel the membership?

Yes. The notice of cancellation does not require any form. It is requred to notify about the concellation three month before calendar year end as stated in the Articles.
